Tim Voight discovered Palm Coast May 2021, after deciding that Ft Lauderdale was already too overcrowded for the 17 new high rises that were then “shovel-ready.”  In late May 2021, Tim and Jo Ann, his spouse of 50+ years, wandered into Grand Haven.  Driving oak tree-lined Waterside Parkway, Tim & JoAnn realized that Grand Haven would become their final home. That home on Eastlake Drive is now under construction.

From 2006 to 2019, Tim joined and was an active member of Hound Ears Club in Boone, NC.  During those years he assisted with numerous Men’s Golf Association Events and as well as service on its Board as Treasurer and President.  Tim also was a Club Board Member, chairing several committees.  In 2017, Tim joined the Ft. Lauderdale Country Club and enjoyed playing golf on either of its two courses several times a week.  While Tim has never made a hole-in-one and very few holes-in-two, he truly enjoys the game and his play at the Grand Haven Golf Club.

Tim was the Founder and President of Sigma Business Solutions, a consulting company that supported the Six Sigma needs of diverse and world class client group for fifteen years. Prior to those years, he served with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Qualtec Quality Services, as a consultant, director and vice president. Lastly, Tim held several positions with Florida Power & Light, including membership on the corporate steering committee responsible for FPL’s successful challenge for the Deming Award, the first US company to accomplish this distinction, in 1988.

Tim and JoAnn, both former life-long Ft. Lauderdale residents, have one son, Derek, a daughter-in law Mamie, and granddaughter Bridget (who loves her “Gramps),” reside in D.C.  Tim holds a B.B.A. degree from Florida Atlantic University and served as a Commended Army Airborne Ranger in Vietnam.
